GRAND PREDICTION --
A box is suspended above the
stage. You ask several audience
members random questions and
record their answers on a erasable
board. You explain that before the
show, you made a prediction and
locked it inside the box that has
been hanging in full view the entire
time. Your assistant brings out a
rolling table as you untie the rope.
You lower the box down onto the
table, unlock the padlock, open the
top and remove a sealed brown
envelope. You ask a member of the
audience to tear open the flap,
remove the paper inside, and hold it
up for everyone to see. Of course
your prediction matches exactly what
each one of the participants said, no
matter how bizarre it may have been.
BOWLING BALL
PRODUCTION --
Carry out a tray with a small wooden
box sitting on it. Show the box
empty, make a pass over the top
with the included, stage-sized magic
wand and immediately pull out a 15
lb bowling ball.
Bend-It --
Pass out an ordinary spoon for
inspection. Retrieve it back from the
audience, hold it in plain sight, focus
your thoughtwaves and watch the
spectators reaction as it slowly
bends to a ninety degree angle.
Accept the well deserved applause
and pass it back out for verification.
Prepare for the sought-after
question, "How did you do that?"
That was my card --
You ask a volunteer to stop you at
any point as you drop a deck of
regular cards onto the table-top. You
then throw out a sealed envelope
that contains a prediction you made
beforehand.
This is a simple trick to do, and it
commands respect every single time
you present it.
You can use any deck of cards.
